چکیده

Nowadays, the preservation of natural resources, reuse, and recycling waste by-products in cement industry are gaining increasing attention a sustainable development project. In this perspective, many studies focus on finding solutions order to propose environmentally friendly materials. Nowadays sediments represent way preserve resources by their reuse as secondary raw material multiple applications (concrete, roads, landscaped mound, etc.). However, they commonly contain contaminants, organic matter (5%–30%), high water content (50%–200%), relatively small particle size (Dmax ? 300 ?m). Therefore improve mechanical properties well its physiochemical ones, specific methods characterization appropriate treatment techniques (calcination, chemical treatment, etc.) required. This article presents bibliographical review efficient use cementitious matrix. It details experimental tests that must be performed ensure durability sediment-based structure assess environmental impact under prescribed conditions.
